Is Privilege Points free?
Yes — free to download with no required upfront payment. The core app is free. A subscription unlocks additional features, but many families use the free version long-term.
How many kids can I add?
You can add multiple children, each with their own task list, point balance, and privileges. The app is designed for families with kids of different ages.
Does it work for kids with ADHD or behavior challenges?
Yes — and it works especially well. Visual task lists, immediate point rewards, and consistent routines are exactly what child psychologists recommend for ADHD. Many parents of kids with ADHD report fewer battles and more cooperation after starting with Privilege Points.
Does my child need their own iPhone?
Not necessarily. You can set up a shared family device (like a kitchen iPad) in child lock mode. Kids can view their task list and point total — but can't change anything. For older kids, having their own device with the app installed works great.
What's the difference between points and cash?
Points are a virtual currency your kids earn and spend on privileges you define — screen time, a sleepover, a favorite meal. Cash mode lets you assign real dollar values to chores and privileges, making Privilege Points an allowance manager for older kids and teens.
Can multiple parents or caregivers use it?
Yes. All data lives in the cloud. Install on as many devices as you want — both parents, grandparents, and regular sitters can all participate. Everyone sees the same task lists and approvals in real time.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
Your family data stays intact. You revert to the free feature set — your kids can still use the app and you can still approve tasks, but some advanced features become unavailable.
Does it work for teenagers?
